THE CURTAIN RISES IN 2026
Parkinson Philips Productions is a bold new creative company committed to making theatre that is unexpected, hysterical, and unapologetically original. Founded on a love of parody, imagination, and storytelling, the company creates productions that don’t just entertain — they surprise, challenge, and delight in equal measure.
At its core, Parkinson Philips Productions believes theatre should be an escape: a place where laughter is loud, joy is contagious, and audiences leave feeling lighter than when they arrived. Every show is built to be an event — a thrilling collision of comedy, music, and theatrical innovation — that pushes the boundaries of what live performance can do.
From parody musicals to genre-bending theatrical experiments, our work blends mischief with craft, always searching for fresh, inventive ways to tell stories audiences may know — and others they never saw coming. Using bold staging, unexpected devices, and a fearless sense of play, we aim to create a shared experience where escapism and artistry meet.
Driven by passion, creativity, and a healthy dose of irreverence, Parkinson Philips Productions is more than just a production company — it’s a promise to deliver shows that are daring, dynamic, and joy-filled.
Our mission is simple: to spread laughter, spark wonder, and prove that comedy and creativity can be the most powerful tools we have for connection.

Samuel Parkinson-Philips is an emerging creative with an almost inhuman eye for detail and a brain bursting with bold, mischievous ideas. He thrives on every corner of the theatrical process — from conception to execution — and is determined to see just how far his wild imagination can take him.

Most recently, Sam spent three years as “Captain Viz” in The Effectors and The Effectors II — Royal Caribbean’s record-breaking, most expensive theatrical productions at sea.
He trained at The BRIT school followed by Laine Theatre Arts on a full scholarship from Betty Laine OBE, graduating in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. In 2017, Sam received the West End Wilma Rising Star Award, following in the footsteps of Cynthia Erivo, recognised for his grit, determination, and ability to transform difficult circumstances into art — launching a YouTube channel that earned millions of views and global attention for his unique & creative videos.
Now with over 15 years of professional performing credits ranging from Voice In A Million at the O2 Arena to Celebrating Sondheim with the London Philharmonic Orchestra for BBC Brightsparks at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Sam is now shifting his focus to producing theatrical work that is as unique, daring, and joyful as his own journey.
He believes that “making someone laugh is a superpower” — and his mission is to harness that power to create bold, genre-bending theatre that empowers, entertains, and surprises in equal measure.
